A return packet (with attached waybill) is provided with each rental. For hotel return, insert the equipment into the return packet and present it to the hotel front desk or concierge. Most hotels have daily pick up service or will assist you by contacting YAMATO for pickup. Our 24-hour customer service desk is available to assist you for return delivery procedures.

FREE Private Residence or Business Return

For return from private residences or businesses, please contact YAMATO Customer Service Center toll free English at 0120-17-9625 ( 9 AM – 6 PM) Japanese 0120-01-9625 (8 AM – 9 PM) to arrange pick up from your location. Your business sponsor or relative is able to assist you

FREE Convenience Store Return

Most major convenience stores (SEVEN ELEVEN, LAWSON, FAMILY MART ) will accept the Yamato free return packet. Be sure to confirm final shipment times from these locations.

FREE Yamato Service Center Return

YAMATO local centers are located in all major Japan wards and cities and in Tokyo  normally within two city blocks from your location. Look for the Yamato banner.

IMPORTANT: JCR does not pre-schedule the return delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure the items are shipped on the scheduled return date and returned to JCR. Additional rental days or replacement fees will be charged if the return packet is not received as scheduled.  DO NOT INSERT THE PACKET INTO A POSTAL BOX – IT WILL NOT REACH OUR OFFICE.

  • A return packet (with attached waybill) is provided with your rental
  • PLEASE REQUEST AIRPORT RETURN DELIVERY AT THE TIME OF YOUR ORDER. delivery at the time of your order. Certain airports counters require a specific waybill for returns. Without the waybill you will be required to pay directly for the return. Narita  and Kansai Airport(s) will accept the Free Return waybill. Please be sure to contact us via email or telephone in advance of your departure.  Haneda and Nagoya Chubu Airport(s) require a specific return waybill.
  • Certain airport counters will require a specific waybill for return. Without the waybill direct payment will be required.
  • If the rented items are taken outside of Japan without prior notice or authorization the renter will be responsible to immediately return all items back to our Tokyo office. The address is included in your confirmation and file folder. AS A COURTESY, to prevent additional rental days and replacement costs being added to your order, YOU MUST contact us within 24hrs and provide a return waybill number as confirmation of shipment. There are cases when we must replace items when not returned in Japan.
  • Our customer service desk is available to assist you for return delivery procedures

HOTEL, BUSINESS or RESIDENCE DELIVERY

  • Free Next-Day Delivery to hotels, businesses & private residences. Hotel delivery does not require renter to be present for acceptance. Guaranteed delivery between 10AM and 12 noon 365 day except certain rural areas delivery may be scheduled between 2PM – 4PM.
  • Free delivery service to Hokkaido, Kyushu and Okinawa require two days. Japan Next-Day Express service is available.
  • ORDER MUST BE SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED AT LEAST ONE DAY PRIOR TO DELIVERY DATE BY 4PM. 
  • Express Kanto Same-day delivery is available from Mon – Fri only to hotels, business addresses and to residential towers with service desks (staff).
  • ORDER MUST BE SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED PRIOR TO OR BY 10:00PM (JST) ON THE DAY PRIOR TO THE DELIVERY DATE. MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY, SUNDAY OR NATIONAL HOLIDAYS. PLEASE INQUIRE.
  • We recommend you contact us by telephone (USA or JAPAN numbers) prior to selecting this delivery type.
  • Express AM Service to hotels, businesses & private residences. Service NOT available during Japanese holidays.
  • Tokyo Express 9AM: Delivery weekdays only 8:30-9AM.
  • Express 10AM : Daily delivery 8:30-10AM to major cities in Japan. This service may be used for Next-Day Delivery to Hokkaido, Kyushu and Okinawa. Delivery time may be delayed to rural areas.

ORDER MUST BE SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED 48-72 Hrs. PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE DATE. A TRACKING NUMBER IS SENT BY EMAIL PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE.

Airport Express Pickup & Return. No forms or time consuming registration required.

  • All orders for airport delivery must be received at least 48-72 hours prior to your departure date.  This is necessary to ensure the cellular equipment will be available for pick up on the date and time of your arrival.

  • A copy of the shipping label will be sent via e-mail 2–7 days prior to your departure date. Present this copy or image at the designated counter. 

  • A small additional fee is charged for airport pickup and returns. This fee covers the additional delivery expense we incur for use of the airport counters.

  • For first time visitors to Japan we look forward to providing this added convenience. If you are unfamiliar with Japan it is highly recommended delivery be made to your hotel, business or private residence.

  • NARITA AIRPORT New Terminal 3 pickups and returns will be scheduled at the Terminal 2 counters.

  • Available Daily. Counter Hours: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM. FREE Next-day delivery 10 AM-12 Noon.
  • The counter is centrally located on the B1 floor at the Tokyo Train Station.
  • SAME-DAY DELIVERY to this counter on Mon-Fri only. ORDERS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED PRIOR TO OR BY 9:30 AM ON THE DELIVERY DATE. JAPAN CONTACT INFORMATION REQUIRED. Additional Same-day delivery fee as indicated above.
  • Tokyo (Bike) Motorcycle Delivery Service Special Tokyo motorcycle delivery service for Central Tokyo Metropolitan areas. Delivery usually within 2-4 hours after order. Rates are higher on weekends and before and after normal business hours.
